We are living in a world of wireless communication. There are cellular phones, personal digital assistants (PDAs), and music players (mp3) in our pockets and backpacks. In addition to that, we have multiple computers at home. As a result, it is a challenge to organize all of the information we have if we can’t physically see or touch it.
Linda’s Top Tips for Wireless Communication
- Don’t leave emails in your inbox because it takes up memory and takes up space. Create sub-folders to make specific emails easier to find.
- Use your email program’s “rules” to direct specific emails directly to specific folders. For example, you could set a rule to put all emails from your family into one folder. Similarly, sort work emails to specific folders by topic.
- To keep your digital devices free of clutter, regularly delete photos. Move duplicates, unflattering, and poor quality photos to the digital trash can. Make sure you back-up the photos on your devices to your computer, an external hard drive, or cloud storage.
